Buckeye Family Trees offers a range of services for your family history search:
Record Look-ups:
If you know what you need, I can search for a specific vital record, probate file, deed, burial record, newspaper story, or obituary at a Central Ohio archive, government office, or cemetery.
Consultations and Research Plans:
Want to discuss your family history challenges with an experienced professional? We can consult in person or online. I'll look at the materials you've collected so far, analyze them, and develop a targeted research plan for moving forward. Recommended time: 12 hours.
Genealogical Research and Analysis:
Looking for someone to dig deeper into your Ohio roots? We'll work together to set a goal for your project. I'll conduct thorough research using a variety of records, both online and in person. Then I’ll analyze the evidence collected and write a report on my findings. Copies of all documents found and recommendations for future research are included. Recommended time: 20 hours.
Lineage Society Applications:
I can prepare and submit applications for any of the four Ohio Genealogical Society Lineage Societies. I can also assemble materials for applications to Daughters of the American Revolution and Sons of the American Revolution. Joining a lineage society is an excellent way of making sure the records on your family are preserved.

A Caveat: I Can Search, But I Can't Guarantee
Genealogical research is like doing a puzzle. You try to find the right pieces and determine where they fit. The challenge, though, is that sometimes the pieces are missing or incomplete. And surprises are often part of the deal when you start digging up the past.
I make every effort to find the records needed to answer your genealogical question, but I can’t guarantee that results will always be found. While I pledge to make my best effort to find information, my charges are based on the time I spend on the search, analysis, and reporting, regardless of the results.
